Montana’s parole system isn’t just outdated; it’s medieval. You can practically hear the chains in the dungeon. It incarcerates people long after they are a risk. And, that costs taxpayers millions every year.

The current parole system does more harm than good, all under the guise of protecting the public. We need to reexamine our system. Other states have reimagined parole to provide a real possibility of parole, without sacrificing public safety.
