The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the campaign arm for U.S. House Democrats, has added Montana’s western House seat to its list of “districts in play” for the 2026 midterm elections.

Democrats are expanding their battleground map as they seek to overcome a slim Republican majority in the House and added five additional Republican-held seats to their offensive watch list on Tuesday, bringing the total targeted seats to 44.
