At the corner of Chelan and Orondo Avenues, a woman dressed in calavera makeup, and a formal quinceanera dress held a bullhorn and shouted the names of Renee Good, Alex Pretti, Keith Porter and others killed by U.S. immigration authorities this year. Her voice echoed over traffic at the busy intersection. About 500 people surrounded her with colorful signs, many of them demanding to remove ICE from their cities locally and nationwide.
