Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel on Friday announced her office had filed a challenge with the Michigan Court of Appeals aimed at invalidating state energy regulators’ decision to approve contracts allowing DTE Energy to supply power to a controversial data center under development in Saline Township.

After the Michigan Public Service Commission gave its conditional approval to the contracts in December, Nessel filed motions asking the regulatory body to reopen the case
