Nevada earns high marks when it comes to administering elections, jumping to second best in the nation in the recently published 2024 Elections Performance Index, or EPI.

The EPI, published by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, compares election administration policy and performance across the states during each election cycle.

Nevada jumped to second, up 11 spots from being ranked 13th in the 2020 EPI. Only Minnesota placed higher than Nevada in 2024.
