The Food Bank of Northern Nevada is establishing its first rural food hub in Elko as part of an effort to improve food access in struggling rural Nevada communities.

The project is made possible by a $3 million grant funded by the Nevada Department of Agriculture using American Rescue Plan funds, and will expand food access for Elko, White Pine, Eureka and Lander counties in northeastern Nevada.
