HAMPTON — The state Board of Tax and Land Appeals has ordered Hampton to conduct a full, town‑wide revaluation — including a complete measure‑and‑list of every property — by the end of the 2028 tax year, after ruling that the town’s 2024 revaluation was flawed.

The BTLA’s order stems from a Jan. 2, 2025, appeal filed by Hampton taxpayers Joan Gootee and Charles Porritt, along with more than 50 others.
