PORTSMOUTH — An arbitrator’s determination ex-Portsmouth police sergeant Aaron Goodwin is owed about 26 months of back pay by the city department has been upheld by the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

Goodwin was fired over accusations he exerted undue influence over Geraldine Webber, a Portsmouth woman with dementia, in order to receive part of her multi-million-dollar estate. Webber died in December 2012.
