The manufacturer of the EpiPen is paying North Carolina $11 million after N.C. Attorney General Jeff Jackson accused the company of overcharging the state and its residents.

Jackson said in a press conference Thursday afternoon that Mylan Inc., which produces the injector that treats life-threatening allergic reactions, has been systematically overcharging the state, raising the price of EpiPens from $100 to $600 between 2009 and 2016.
