Woodbury, NJ — A man was shot on Evergreen Avenue in Woodbury Wednesday afternoon and was transported to a regional trauma center, according to witnesses.

The shooting occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the area of Evergreen Avenue between Hunter and Cooper Streets. A witness reported hearing four gunshots in rapid succession, followed by a pause, then two more shots.
