PORTSMOUTH — The rehabilitation of the air traffic control tower at the Portsmouth International Airport at Pease is quickly approaching its conclusion.

Airport manager John Meehan took visitors Aug. 31 to the top of the roughly 100-foot tower cab — or central operations area — as construction crews continued working on the facility that was built in 1978.
