NORTH HAMPTON — Police are urging caution against a false jury duty scam after Chief Kevin Walsh received a fake court order claiming he owed $15,000.

The phony arrest warrant, texted to the police chief’s personal cell phone and falsely signed by a U.S. marshal, alleged Walsh missed jury duty and was in violation of three offenses, each carrying a supposed $5,000 fine.
