MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester police on Wednesday issued a warning to residents after several reports of a court document scam.
“We want to alert residents to a scam circulating in the Greater Manchester area involving fraudulent court documents,” said a press release from police.
The scam appears in the form of a very realistic-looking “Notice of Hearing,” which falsely claims the recipient committed a traffic violation and owes a fine. …
