A pair of Port of Columbia commissioners have said they want to revisit an old, dormant project, the Touchet Valley Trail, which continues to draw robust support even after it inspired enough opposition to stop it years ago.

Port Chair Mike Spring and Commissioner Scott Hudson said at the commissioners’ March meeting that the proposed multiuse path from Dayton to Waitsburg would help attract visitors and boost the area’s business activity.
