PORTSMOUTH — The City Council voted to adopt a $157,856,390 fiscal year 2027 municipal budget during its June 8 meeting.

The council cut $115,000 from the budget initially proposed by City Manager Karen Conard, according to city representatives Monte Bohanan and Stephanie Seacord.

Conard’s initial proposal for the city’s FY 2027 budget came in at $157,971,390, she said during her annual budget press conference in May.
