LAWRENCE — A state agency that oversees police credentials and licensing has issued suspensions for two Lawrence police officers after an off-duty gun incident.

Officers Victor Martinez and Miguel Pena received 60- and 90-day suspensions respectively, the state’s Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission announced early Friday afternoon.

The suspensions went into effect Thursday following a POST Commission vote.
