The candidates who vied for a pair of seats on the commission that regulates utilities in North Dakota have vowed to continue their work, but in different ways.

The two Republican incumbents on the Public Service Commission, Sheri Haugen-Hoffart and Jill Kringstad, won their primary contests with 64% and 54% of the vote respectively. They defeated Deven Styczynski, who was endorsed by the GOP at the party’s state convention, and Chris Olson.
