To whom do those floating arms belong?

The question arises from a curious photo on the Facebook page of Kendall Qualls — the Republican-endorsed candidate for governor — that shows Qualls’ wife driving a Polaris Slingshot in a July 4 parade. At first glance, she appears to be alone. Look closely, however, and you’ll see she’s joined in the passenger seat by a pair of disembodied arms, and a shirt that reads “No Apologies.”
