The Nevada State Legislature’s nonpartisan staff believes legislation to rein in corporate homeownership would likely survive constitutional challenges, according to a draft memo obtained by Nevada Current.

Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo, who has previously vetoed legislation to prevent corporate investors from purchasing excessive amounts of single family homes across Nevada, recently formed a working group to review potential solutions to address corporate homeownership.
