Port Townsend’s eclectic food scene welcomed a new addition over the weekend.

Royal Masala, a restaurant offering Indian cuisine from every corner of the country, is open and ready for business next to Mom’s Laundromat at 2330 Washington Street.

It’s been a long time coming, with David Segleau, a Port Townsend resident formerly of Seattle, saying he has waited eight years for an Indian restaurant to come to town.
