Democrat Lori Goldstein will replace former state Rep. Shannon Bird in the Colorado Legislature, a vacancy committee decided Sunday evening.

Goldstein was selected unanimously by the 34 members of the committee in House District 29, which includes parts of Westminster and Northglenn.
