The Alabama House of Representatives Tuesday passed a bill that would prohibit excessive screen time for children up to five years old.

HB 78, sponsored by Rep. Jeana Ross, R-Guntersville, passed the chamber 101-1. Rep. Mary Moore, D-Birmingham, was the sole no vote.
