PORTSMOUTH — Sean Patterson is out as chief executive officer of Portsmouth Regional Hospital after 17 months in its top administrator role.

Portsmouth Regional Hospital did not disclose a reason for Patterson’s departure, which was effective Thursday, Sept 3, according to spokesperson Ellen Miller.

In Patterson’s place, Michelle Dodd, the hospital’s chief nursing officer since January 2020, has been named interim CEO.
