The fiscal session workload will increase next week when lawmakers are expected to consider proposals to eliminate the governor’s senior advisor position, prohibit certain funds from being used for a Franklin County prison and increase the homestead tax credit.

“It went from a very slow pace, to yesterday and today becoming a very fast pace,” House Speaker Brian Evans told reporters Thursday. “That’s going to go into hyper mode next week.”
