Several Kentucky hospitals will get millions in disaster reimbursement funds for COVID-19 pandemic expenses, Gov. Andy Beshear announced Friday.

Six hospitals and Kentucky Emergency Management (KYEM) will get more than $105 million through Federal Emergency Management Agency disaster relief.

The money will reimburse facilities for personal protective equipment, medical support, contract labor, emergency protective measures, medications and more expenses from January 2020 through May 11, 2023, Beshear’s office said.
