Providence and Smithfield are drone-free zones until after the World Cup ends in mid July.

The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) temporary flight restrictions for drones went into effect at 1 a.m. on Monday, June 1, and will last until 12:59 a.m. on July 21, two days after the global soccer tournament wraps up.
