Cyclosporiasis has been reported in the area, as several people were confirmed last week to have contracted the diarrhea-causing parasite after eating from the Keene hospital cafeteria's salad bar. To date, Cheshire Medical Center has tallied 30 cases — 24 of them linked to lettuce served at the cafeteria from the beginning of June to July 20.
