Efforts to find a compromise and advance a measure on property taxes will ramp up in the coming weeks, Sen. Dan Dawson, R-Council Bluffs, said Wednesday.

Dawson, at a subcommittee meeting on the governor’s property tax bill, also called for advocates and local government officials to present solutions to lawmakers on some concerns they have with three competing proposals.
