The state this week announced its first round of federal rural health grant funding, which allocated $36 million to projects to help communities with one-time infrastructure improvements and improve technological gaps.

The Nevada Health Authority on Monday named the 25 projects that were awarded funding as part of the $180 million part of the Rural Health Transformation Program included in President Donald Trump’s massive spending and tax cut bill passed last year.
