New Jersey’s statewide initiative titled Bringing Veterans Home has helped 2,582 veterans receive stable housing, according to an announcement made at a New Jersey Department of Community Affairs event on July 29.

At the event, Governor Sherrill, a veteran herself, said the project is “an example of what we can and should be doing for our veterans.”
