On Thursday, U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens, a Birmingham Democrat, joined Bipartisan Congressional PFAS Task Force Co-Chair Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, a Republican from Pennsylvania, to introduce legislation that would help communities to upgrade their wastewater systems to address emerging contaminants like PFAS.
