The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe has announced plans to replace the wooden Howe truss at the Dungeness River Nature Center in Sequim.

The bridge, at the center of the public Railroad Bridge Park, is more than 100 years old. Part of the old Milwaukee Road rail line between Port Townsend and Port Angeles, the bridge is now an iconic feature along the 130-mile Olympic Discovery Trail.
