A water heater malfunctioned in one of the high security units at Montana State Prison on Feb. 13 and is in the process of being repaired, Department of Corrections officials said Tuesday.

The water heater malfunction knocked out hot water for that section of the prison and parts for it arrived on Tuesday. It’s expected to be back online on Wednesday, officials said.
