For four months, a Lynden household has been missing a family member.

That’s how long it’s been since immigration enforcement agents detained “Alexander,” a 47-year-old business owner in Whatcom County, at the Denver International Airport as he returned from a family trip, according to court documents.

Alexander is the man’s middle name. Cascadia Daily News is not using full names for him and other relatives to protect their privacy.
