In the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department biennial report submitted to the Governor and Executive Council in October, Executive Director Stephanie Simek wrote: “The Department’s operations continue to serve all who live in and visit New Hampshire. However, our primary funding source — revenues from hunting and fishing licenses — has remained relatively flat over the biennium.

“Meanwhile,” Simek continued, “the scope of our responsibilities and associated costs continued to expand.”
