Numerous school districts across Arkansas will remain closed Wednesday as the state continues grappling with brutally low temperatures along with ice- and snow-covered roads left over from a winter storm.

Major school districts such as Little Rock School District, Fayetteville Public Schools and Jonesboro Public Schools will be closed. Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced state offices would be closed except for critical operations as well, with state employees working remotely if they are able.
