The West Virginia House of Delegates has approved a bill that would extend a drug testing program for recipients of the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program, or TANF.

House Bill 5582 would indefinitely extend the drug testing program, which began in 2017. It would also allow the use of an oral fluid rinse drug test in addition to urine testing.
