A bill in the West Virginia Senate that would have expanded machine gun access statewide has been sidelined by a procedural move, Senate officials said Tuesday.

The Senate Judiciary reported Senate Bill 107 to the floor Monday evening with the recommendation the bill pass. The legislation was to be first considered by the Senate Finance Committee before a vote by the full Senate.
