Children’s Home Society of West Virginia operates 54 programs around the state to help teens and youth aging out of foster care.

“They age out of foster care with no plan, nowhere to go, and that’s when kids end up homeless,” said Mary White, CEO of the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia. “We were contacted by law enforcement because a young man was living in a tent under a bridge.”
